Clarion University: Fully online ALA-accredited Master of Science in Library Science program. Includes a focus on rural and small libraries.
Online Library Science Programs: Listing of online MLS degree programs.
Southern Connecticut State University: ALA-accredited Master of Library Science program requiring 36 credits to complete in either a thesis or non-thesis track.
Syracuse University: ALA-accredited Master of Library Science degree requires limited on-campus time. The degree requires 36 credit hours to complete.
University of Arizona: ALA-accredited Master of Arts degree in Information Resources and Library Science offered mainly via the Internet. A 12-unit residence requirement must be completed prior to completion of the program.
University of Illinois: ALA-accredited Master's degree program combines brief on-campus time with classes conducted via the Internet.
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee: ALA-accredited Master of Library and Information Science degree offered entirely via the Internet and computer. Degree requires 36-credit hours to complete. Fees are based on in-state rates.
Wayne State University: Wayne State University offers a full ALA-accredited MLIS program online as well as certification courses.
